Who we are
Twonieks creates cinematic villa walkthrough videos from photos supplied by our customers. Twonieks is based in Haaksbergen, the Netherlands. For questions about this policy or about your data, contact us at niekveldhuis@twonieks.com or nieknijland@twonieks.com.
What we collect
When you fill in the order form we collect:
- Your name and company name.
- Your email address, and optionally your phone number and a second delivery email.
- For each property in your order: its name, address or location, and listing link.
- The brief you write: style, what to highlight, important details, and what must not be changed.
- The photos you upload, together with their file names and sizes.
- The date and time your details were submitted.
Payment is handled by our checkout provider, not by this website. We never see or store your card details.
Why we use it
- To match your payment to your order.
- To produce and review the videos you ordered.
- To send your private delivery links to the delivery email you chose.
- To contact you if something in your order is missing or unclear.
- To handle a revision request and keep a record of the purchase.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of our contract with you, together with your consent for the use of the photos you upload.
Your photos
Photos you upload are stored in private storage. They are not published, not listed publicly and not made available to anyone outside the people working on your order. We use them only to produce the videos you bought.
Producing the video involves AI-assisted video tooling, which means your photos are processed by that tooling as part of the production step. We do not sell your photos and we do not use them to advertise our service without asking you first.
Please only upload images you have permission to share with us.
Service providers
We use the following providers. They process data on our instructions only, and only for the purposes described here:
- Render — hosts this website (servers in Frankfurt, Germany).
- Supabase — stores your order details and photos (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Whop — handles checkout and payment.
- Discord — delivers an internal message with your order details to our team once you have paid.
- YouTube — only if you choose to play the example video; nothing loads from YouTube before you do.
- Whop Pixel — analytics about how visitors find and use this site, only if you accept analytics cookies (see Cookies below).
- Our email provider — to send and receive email.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area.
Cookies
We use two kinds of cookies and similar browser storage:
- Necessary — one cookie that remembers the language you chose, and a record in your browser of your cookie choice. These are needed for the site to work as you expect and are always on.
- Analytics (optional) — the Whop Pixel, from our checkout provider Whop. It records which pages are visited and how visitors arrive, so we can see which outreach works. It sets cookies and sends data such as the pages you view, your IP address and browser details to Whop. It only loads after you click “Accept”.
The legal basis for analytics is your consent. If you decline, nothing from the Whop Pixel is loaded. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; withdrawing consent stops the pixel from loading on your next page view.
How long we keep it
We keep orders and the photos attached to them for as long as we need them to produce the videos, handle a revision and meet our bookkeeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your photos once your order is complete, we will do so.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, EEA or UK you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to receive a copy of it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect processing that already took place.
To exercise any of these rights, email niekveldhuis@twonieks.com or nieknijland@twonieks.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
